Maternity Experience Survey
2025 Survey
Following on from the success of the first Black maternity experience report in 2022, which contributed to changes in government policy and the NHS, the second Black maternity experience survey 2025 has now launched.
This survey is designed for individuals who identify as Black or Black mixed-heritage, are currently pregnant, have been pregnant, or have given birth since July 2021. Here is a link to the survey.
This year's survey is designed to address not only the overall maternity experience but also take a closer look at the mental health of Black women during and after pregnancy.
By gathering these insights, it's hoped that meaningful recommendations can be made that will contribute to safer, more equitable maternity care for Black women in the UK.
