Welcome to St James Surgery
Our Patients, Our Priority
St James Surgery has been at Harold Street in Dover since 1999. We put patient care at the centre of everything we do and strive to provide excellent care and support for our patients.
We have a dedicated team here to treat our patients with minor ailments as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.

28.02.22 Changes at St James Surgery
We are excited to announce that St James Surgery will shortly be joining Invicta Health CIC.
Invicta Health CIC is a not for profit, community Interest company made up of GP shareholders. The company was formed in 2008 with the aim of supporting primary care services in the local area. It currently runs GP practices in the Romney Marsh, Birchington and East Cliff areas and manages other services including a Primary Care Mental Health service and the provision of GPs in the Urgent Treatment Centres.
It is anticipated that the change will occur in June 2022, and work is ongoing to ensure that the change occurs smoothly and with minimal disruption to patients. The practice remains committed to offering high quality services to patients and will operate in largely the same way as it does currently. The change will provide stability for staff and enable us to access more opportunities whilst continuing to focus on improvements to patient experience and outcomes.
We look forward to becoming part of the Invicta Health family and benefiting from its support and expertise going forward.
